My Youth!!!

Always got something to say.

Allways complaining,

Seeking something every which way,

Not complying with rules and regulations the adults put on display.

Why this?

Why that?

Why not?

Why Why Why?

Yo Stop!!!

Adults need you to comply!

If you have a problem with small rules and policies,

You’re going to have problems with the real Authorities!

Save yourself some grief,

Follow your righteous belief.

If the book says obey,

Then obey what the parents say.

Don’t question them.

If you question an officer,

He’s not your friend.

When he says put your hands up where I can see them,

Don’t ask WHY?

Do it!

Or your chances to live are slim.

When you were born you knew nothing,

Your parents, caretakers had to teach you something.

How to talk, how to walk, and feed yourself too,

Sending you to school to educate you.

Manners are picked up from family and friends you’re exposed to.

The parents are your first teachers,

So what say you?

When you act out and show bad conduct in public places,

Embarrassed your parents are, I’m imagining their faces.

Some parents scared to get the strap,

Some parents don’t take their children’s crap.

Most parents wish they have the best child,

Praying they make them proud and not be out there wild.

People can tell when you act a certain way if you’re a good child or not,

You display bad behavior, and your speech is shot.

Talking sassy and arrogant,

No respect in your speech,

Reflect on yourself and listen to what they teach.

Obey your parents and those charged with Authority among you,

I promise you’ll become a better human being and Allah will bless you!
