I am so proud to announce that my hard work and dedication has paid off.

I always put Allah first and give Allah the praise. He has blessed me and I’m grateful for the favors He has bestowed on me.

I’m so happy that I received the Recognition I humbly deserve.

I humbly thank Allah so much for the organization Youth Empowerment Institute and the sponsors who decided to honor me 10/05/2019 at the TAHAD FESTIVAL 2019 as the recipient of the Long Island Golden Era of Hip Hop Award.

From the tracks I’ve laid, to the path I’ve blazed, I’m honored to express and share the experience with my fans and colleagues.

I give back to the community because I care. I give back because it’s the right thing to do. I give back because I love you. I’m taught to be kind and respectful and be truthful. I’m taught to enjoin what is right and fibid what is wrong. I’m taught to tie my camel and be strong. Have patience and hope for the best.

I want my sisters to know that we are royalty. We are treasures beyond measures. Being women in hip hop we’re more than just females with bodies and a cute face, sassy mouth, or a cash flow with no where to go. We are strong women, educated and gifted. We are mothers, wifey, sisters, entrepreneurs, mentors, inspiration, advocates, and Queens. We are leadership and we have a voice.

We can reach and teach and be examples. We represent. We don’t need to degrade ourselves to prove nothing to nobody. I don’t want to throw anyone under the bus, but some women have thrown themselves over the bus and steering our young ladies on a rocky path. I believe there’s still hope and change will come.

I pray that the youth can recognize the pure innocence and power of the pen along with prayer, to be the tools and instruments used while trail blazing a path or journey to the success of their choice.

Be it an artist, manager, writer, or publisher, the knowledge learned and taught make you shine and be held up in the coolness of this worlds eyes. Knowing your worth and maintaining your status, never to be degraded and put down that you can’t rise up.

Be the Inspiration to your generation and look back only to bring up the good you may have left behind. Stay focused and guard your heart. Make sure your words and deeds are beneficial to anyone seeking understanding to learn this thing called life.

Life is not just living, its a process and takes courage and strength and the will to survive. I put all that on the Almighty who gave life to me.

I reverence the womb that bore me and I submit to the Lord who made me.

Ladies of the 80’s keep on blazing. The ladies of 90’s and the new Millennium your work is not done.

The chapters in the book, since I last took a look, we should all be on the same page when you hit the stage.

Think of your hereafter that’s the next chapter. All that you say and do will come back on you.

Set the pace and run the race. When you begin, don’t have doubt within. Keep a Gratitude Attitude and respect yourself and others and the love will come my sisters and mothers.

Again, it is an honor to share this with you, it’s so important and so true, Allah blessed me to be who I am the “GLAM” and represent all the good I do.
